It’s funny how when the American media asks immigrants “Who Gets to Be American?” the answer usually turns out to be “My cousin.” Were immigrants alway quite so shamelessly nepotistic?
Professor Viet Thanh Nguyen is a smart guy, but he’s so desperate for some of that Crazy Rich Asians “Represent Me!” lucre, it’s embarrassing.
