If anyone wonders why Colorado--once considered the "next Silicon Valley" of American high tech, has lost most of the jobs created in the past two decades to outsourcing/offshoring and now insourcing of foreign nationals. Iranian immigrant U of Denver's Dr. Rahmat Shoureshi's negative stereotyping of White, American high tech workers is shocking, since he is responsible for training Colorado's high tech students. Shoureshi's blatant anti-White, anti-American biases should result in his being fired.
"On Wed., Feb. 22, Dr. Rahmat Shoureshi, [email him ]dean of the School of
Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver, made a presentation to the Chamber of the Americas about "The Great Technological Achievements of the 21st Century.""Shoureshi was born in Iran and came to the United States 30 years ago."

"According to Shoureshi, the progress of science and technology depends on a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary approach. Shoureshi said the "innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship" needed to create and promote new technologies come mostly from minorities and immigrants working at university laboratories and classrooms."[Technological Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century, by Francisco Miraval, La Voz Nueva, Colorado, March 1, 2006, p.7(not online)]
