What’s Paul Ryan Doing On The Cover Of A Literary Magazine?

My July issue of Literary Review arrived in the mail yesterday.  When I saw the person portrayed on the cover, my first thought was: “What’s Paul Ryan doing in a literary magazine?”

No cause for alarm:  it’s Franz Kafka.

(If there’s any resemblance between the cockroach and some member of our ruling classes, I can’t spot it; but it seems to me there ought to be one.)
