Refusing To Be Worried By Wiretapping

Steve Sailer writes on his blog that while he`s

not a true believer in the rightness of everything the Bush Administration does. Still, I`m simply unable to get my dudgeon up over this issue. I keep coming back to the question:

“On September 12, 2001, did I want my government to do something like this?”

And the answer I keep coming up with is: Sure.

To which I`d like to add the the observation that it`s nonsensical to refer to anti-terror wire-tapping as “spying on Americans,” when the targets of the investigation are Muslim immigrants in America.

See articles like Home, Sweet, Home: Is Lodi, California A Terrorist Hot Bed? for stories of people who aren`t Americans, but live in America.
