UPDATE: In the last four days, donors have responded generously enough to fully fund VDARE.com for just short of one month. If you have ever considered giving, please do so now to help keep VDARE.com online.
I'm writing to ask for your immediate help with an urgent problem — we have been so focused on providing the highest quality content to inform the fight for patriotic immigration reform that VDARE.com is now dangerously short of funds. Unless we can raise additional resources immediately, we will not be able to continue our mission of educating the public on the unsustainability of current US immigration policy.
Please make an immediate contribution of $25, $50, $100 or even $500 or more so that we have the resources to continue to fight for a viable America.
Last week I started the Spring Appeal with a soft touch: an inspiring image of what America will look like when we win this fight, laying out VDARE.com’s mission and goals. The post was fortuitous: the day it launched, VDARE.com had almost 6,500 new users on the site, thanks to a well-timed tweet from Ann Coulter. (Thanks Ann!) Now all those new visitors have a clear idea of what VDARE.com is about. But—unsurprisingly, given their newness to our cause -- they didn’t donate.
That day is a microcosm of the VDARE Foundation experience. Our message is percolating to people in the top echelons of influence on our nation’s future. More and more Americans are waking up to the destructive realities of mass immigration, cultural Marxism and Political Correctness. We throw ourselves wholly into the task of providing news and analysis critical to the movement, and we move the conversation forward every single day.
But it all costs money.
VDARE.com only has two full time editorial staff—Peter Brimelow, our intrepid Editor, and James Fulford, lieutenant. They work 24/7 to keep the site hard-hitting and prolific.
Despite our cramped budget, our numbers are up across the board:
- website traffic (up 47% over 12 months)
- social media (more than 11k on Twitter; 7,642 Facebook followers)
- readership (up 53% over 12 months)
- donor base (new donors every week, almost 4000 active donors every year),
and—something that is harder to measure but no less real—influence. Our message is going places and can no longer be ignored.
But the more effectively we argue for patriotic immigration reform, the more we need your support.
We simply aren’t closing the gap quickly enough.
I’m burning the candle at both ends trying to figure out how we’re going to make it. I’m doing the legwork on grant applications (unlikely given the Establishment’s fear of supporting anything politically incorrect, but you never know), meeting donors one-on-one and developing new revenue streams.
But there is only so much I can do if you do not support VDARE.com and the risks takes. If we can’t make up this budgetary shortfall, VDARE.com will face severe cutbacks within the next four months.
I don’t have to tell you what a critical time this is in our movement. The climate has never been riper for our message. The blow to patriotic immigration reformers everywhere at the loss of VDARE.com would be huge.
PLEASE, MAKE AN EMERGENCY CONTRIBUTION TODAY so that we can maintain our unyielding focus on informing the fight to Keep America
American.

Faithfully,
Lydia Brimelow
PS: Note that we no longer block access to VDARE.com during appeals. These days, the news cycle is too demanding and for the integrity of our mission we feel we must keep the site accessible. To get past this popup click the “X” button on the upper right corner, and make sure you aren’t using a cookie-blocking “incognito” or “private” browser.
But, the block used to have the joint benefit of being both money saving (about $1000 per week of unpublished articles) and also lucrative (readers really responded).
So, again, if you have ever considered donating before, now is the time. If you have ever considered increasing you gift, now is the time. Please donate today. It’s now or never.
